Aerco

Creating a consistent identity was crucial to Aerco as it expanded its customer base and communications channels. This process was initiated with the development of a product reference guide booklet which was soon followed by a suite of branded sales collateral that was tailored to fit specific vertical markets and industry requirements without losing the corporate theme.

Using creative design and functional layout, Aerco is now able to clearly communicate its extensive product offering which covers numerous product groups and categories. The direct mail campaign effectively communicates additional service offerings to customers who may not have been aware of them previously.

Alpha Wire Company

Making changes to any established brand is a decision not to be taken lightly. Get your rebranding right and you can turn a £5m product line into a £25m product line in a few years. Get it wrong and you can wipe millions off your profit.

Vertical recently worked with Alpha Wire to rebrand XTRA-GUARD, a lucrative 22 year old cable brand, in order to increase sales and cement its market leadership position. We started by analyzing the market research conducted by the client, then advised how the brand positioning should happen, created a new logo, strapline and environment icons.

The new look was then incorporated into a brochure, ads, direct mail pieces, catalogue pages as well as a website and flash presentation.

This project is the highest calibre work that Alpha Wire has ever produced. Vertical has put the whole company on another level.

HumiSeal

With a history spanning 50 years, HumiSeal was already a well established brand in North America for the development, manufacture and supply of specialist coating materials in the electronics manufacturing industry. Following several key acquisitions in Europe, HumiSeal established its European base and aligned with Vertical to help it create strong brand awareness in the new geographies.

Vertical developed a full range of collateral including corporate guidelines, brochures, technology handbooks, direct mail piece and corporate ads. Vertical also developed specific, multi-lingual product selector guides that helped support channel activity throughout the European territory.

This activity and brand consistency will also be supported through the use of online and digital based media as web based activity grows.

JCC Lighting

JCC's new facility in Droitwich represents the UK’s leading lighting Application Centre and Distribution Hub and Vertical had the exciting responsibility of launching it to the UK electrical and lighting industry, but with one caveat… we only had 2 months, with Christmas in the middle!

Used to working under tight deadlines, we quickly created an integrated marcomms approach, including photography, corporate brochure and folder, direct mail pieces, ads, invitations, display panels, plus two multi-media presentations and a PR campaign. We also coordinated all the event management aspects of the official launch day, including securing the services of Worcestershire and England cricketer, Graeme Hick to do the honours.

Happily, a well attended and much publicised opening event has led to an elevated profile in the industry and positioned JCC as an even greater driving force in the lighting sector.

The successful launch of our Droitwich facility, plus the professional marketing image we present, positions us exactly where we want to be in line with our global strategy.

PDR

Vertical was tasked with assisting PDR to establish its technology as the industry’s standard for the rework of printed circuit boards. By identifying the advantages of the technology Vertical created a marketing toolkit including brochure, datasheets, advertisements and exhibition graphics.

Working with PDRs established distributor network, Vertical also made collateral available in multiple languages to help underpin sales activities across the various international territories. This integrated seamlessly with other elements of PDR's marcomms activity such as web development and exhibition attendance.

The ongoing campaign is proving very successful, with PDR enjoying greater market awareness of its products and technology, which is ultimately leading to an increase in sales.

PTL

Having developed the electronics industry's latest, full production-ready, precision inkjet legend printer, PTL approached Vertical to launch the product at Productronica, the industry’s global exhibition.

In just five weeks, we developed the system's name, defined and created its brand identity, designed a datasheet and a website, issued a press release and organised several media briefings with trade press at the exhibition. And the deliverables were produced in German as well as English, with Vertical translating the items along the way.
