Basecamp takes a fresh, novel approach to project management and collaboration. In our experience projects don't fail from a lack of charts, graphs, statistics, or reports, they fail from a lack of clear communication and understanding. Basecamp solves this problem by providing tools tailored to improve the communication between us and our clients streamlining how we work on a project.
Each client is allocated a personal login and can access Basecamp to communicate on projects from any web browser.

Before we begin a project, the brief will be laid out by the account manager and approved by the client here.

Any questions about a project can be asked and logged here. Comments can be left in response to the message or questions asked about it. Any support files relating to a project (image files, logos, copy documents, data files etc.) can be posted here by the client. Likewise, Vertical can post files for clients, be they artwork files, draft copies of a project etc. or simply files that are too big to email.

Any tasks that need to be completed for a project to progress will be outlined here. Tasks can be assigned to any member of the Vertical team (or by Vertical to the client), and they will automatically be notified via email by Basecamp.
Clients can also post project snagging lists, so that they can keep track of change requests in real-time.

Any deadlines that must be adhered to during a project will be outlined here.
Email notifications can be set up to avoid deadlines being missed and to notify everyone involved of the project status.

This is a repository for project support files (see description in messages). Files can be either posted to the site via email or through direct upload.
This feature can also be used as a file transfer utility for files too big to be sent by email. Files of up to 100Mb can be posted.
